AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Systems Analyst with Navy experience to work in direct support of the Navy's Master Assessment Index (MAI) which is a program designed to provide risk prioritization and analysis in support of the Total Ship Readiness Assessment (TSRA) program.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Perform import and validation procedures to update the MAI using Microsoft Access and web based applications.

  2. Modify configuration and TSRA matrices in model using appropriate Navy reference materials.

  3. Coordinate with and support Assessment Directors, maintenance teams, and type desk for Class Maintenance and Life Cycle Management.

  4. Monitor Planned Maintenance System Management Information System (PMSMIS) changes.

  5. Coordinate with Common Assessment Procedure (CAP) managers to receive CAP updates.

  6. Research issues identified during TSRA planning to identify and coordinate corrective action.

  7. Comply with all applicable policies, procedures and administrative directives.

  8. Comply with all applicable and relative environmental safety and health policies, procedures, directives and orders.

  9. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements

General Experience:

  • Vocational/technical training beyond high school or Associates degree and at least 4 years of job-related experience or equivalent.

  • 4 years experience must be within the last 10 years in such areas as computer program analysis, design and development of management information systems, work breakdown structures, or work simplification techniques.

  • Desired is a minimum that 2 years of the experience must have been working on Naval engineering projects including design, maintenance, repair, testing, installation, or ship upgrade of naval systems.

  • Desired is knowledge in commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within HM&E Systems.

  • Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.

  • Position may require travel.

Specialized Experience:

  • 2 years experience within last 5 years must be in database management and the concepts dealing with various computer languages and programs.

  • Desired is a minimum of 1 of the years shall have been with the 3-M System (PMS, CSMP, OARS), COSAL, ILS and/or SHIPALT/FMP process.

  • Also desired is knowledge of relationships, policies, and procedures for ship maintenance between MARMC, NAVSEA, TYCOMS, Naval Shipyards and SUPSHIP/IMA Organizations.
