The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

  • Structural design and preparation of contract documents

  • Conducting site visits

  • Preparation of field reports and sketches

  • Client coordination

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline

  • 5+ years of relevant experience

  • Excellent knowledge and expertise in structural analysis and design of steel and reinforced concrete building structures

  • Experience with various software packages for analysis and design such as Revit,RAM Steel and ETABS, in addition to Microsoft office

  • Experience with different types of construction and ability to conduct field visits, write field reports and prepare field sketches

  • Good communications skills written and verbal are required for client interaction

  • Structural analysis and design experience for buildings

  • Experience with conducting field investigations and inspections

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineering License

  • Knowledge of linear and nonlinear static and dynamic simulations as well as computational fluid dynamics

  • Knowledge of SAP and/or SAFE is preferred
