Position Title Senior Security Design Consultant

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Senior Security Design Consultant for immediate employment in the New York, NY.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Ability to discuss, plan and design all aspects of the following: a) Access Control Systems, equipment and software (multiple manufacturers) ; b) CCTV Systems, equipment and software (multiple manufacturers) and c) Force protection systems (bollards, barriers, gates, blast resistant materials, etc.)
Ability to engage in discussion on these and other security subjects with clients both detailed and high level
Familiarity with both expansion planning (updating existing) and new systems implementations for both ACS and CCTV
Familiarity working with and/or directing sub-contractors in the planning, design and implementation of these systems
Understanding of supportive infrastructure for these systems, cabling, conduit, terminations, head end and distributive equipment
Ability to estimate workload and other costs for planning and design tasks
Ability to track performance and manage your time against contractual agreements
Ability to prepare and present reports on performance, issues, considerations, etc. to clients
Bachelor’s degree in related field or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, skills, knowledge, abilities and experience
5+ years of relevant recent experience
Experience in the design and planning of access control and CCTV systems
Adept and skilled at interacting directly with clients
Some travel required, as deemed necessary by clients
Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required
10+ years of relevant recent experience
CPP Certification completed or in progress
