AECOM has an exceptional opportunity for a senior construction manager/project manager to construct a complex railway bridge in NY/NJ Metro Area. This senior level construction position will have on-site responsibilities for construction planning, resources, subcontractors, staff management, project scheduling, budget management, and client and community relationships. Ultimately, this senior CM/PM will successfully lead the planning, execution and close out of the rail bridge construction.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for managing project team that will include resident engineers, inspectors, office engineers, project controls
Provide day to day direction of project team and sub-consultants
Responsible for managing client and community relations
Responsible for managing cost, schedule, quality, project delivery of major railroad bridge construction project
Bachelor's degree in related field
10+ years of prior experience in project management of railroad bridge construction
Managing construction projects with value greater than $500M
Requires professional engineering license
Substantial experience of working on commuter railroads
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required
