Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Resident Engineer for immediate employment.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitor construction quality and progress of multiple construction projects

  • Responsible for supervising field inspectors, monitoring and organizing all project data

  • Review and process change order and payment requests

  • Chair project meetings

  • Work with all project stakeholders schedule and coordinate all work activities


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

  • 10+ years of related experience

  • Knowledge of New York City Transit policies and procedures

  • Knowledge and experience with construction planning, coordination, supervision, and inspection

  • Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Experience with managing construction contracts and construction activities

  • Knowlege of estimating and scheduling
