Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented and hardworking Office Engineer for immediate employment in the New York, NY office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Review of daily inspection reports

  • Review and preparation of contractor’s payment estimate in CEES

  • Review and prepare change orders

  • Review and document material certification

  • Review compliance of Contractors’ EEO program, document “as-built” conditions for record set drawing preparation

  • Coordinate RFIs, submittals and transmittals through Primavera Contract Management

  • Preparation of monthly job progress reports and minutes of meetings

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or related discipline

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience

  • Knowledge of NYSDOT/NYSTA process and procedures

  • Solution oriented, problem solver with a “hands-on” and team-oriented attitude

  • Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a deadline driven environment

  • Ability to communicate and influence supervisors, peers, and external partners

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of various document control systems
