Job Summary

Will support the Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) through coordinating communications within the global Information Technology (IT) organization and preparing IT leaders for their communications to business leaders, executive leadership and partners including the preparation of materials and messaging. Reporting to the Corporate IT Vice President, will be responsible for:

  • Partnering with Corporate Communications in the development and implementation of global, business unit and geography-targeted communications and marketing campaigns for the IT organization.

  • Supporting the office of the CIO to communicate the IT strategy to executive leadership teams, board members and other leaders throughout the company through developing talking points, PowerPoint presentations, key messages and other briefing materials.

  • Working collaboratively with the global IT leadership and project teams to determine the pipeline of projects to be communicated to stakeholders including timelines and benefits.

  • Serving as project manager in partnership with Corporate Communications to identify synergies, determine strategies and the cadence of communications.

  • Leading the implementation of a sentiment analysis program to measure employee perception of IT and coordinating action plans and targeted communications to address concerns and re-enforce key narratives.

  • Monitoring feedback channels (email and social) and ghost writing proactive and reactive responses via e-mail, social platform posts and memos for global IT leaders.

  • Engaging on social platforms as a key evangelist of IT capabilities/services, announcements and project updates.

  • Leading the development and rollout of a proactive end user engagement program with a focus on educating users of technology capabilities, improving training programs and creating/updating intranet pages and other materials highlighting the benefits of IT services and programs.

  • Partnering with Marketing teams to develop new and improved marketing/communication materials for Technology-as-a-Service and revenue-generating IT offerings.

  • Supporting organizational and change management programs with a focus on end-user experience.

  • In partnership with Corporate Communications, developing and managing a functional review process for the intake, review, editing and release of key communications.

  • Building graphics/storyboards/infographics to help communicate IT strategy.

  • Establishing and maintaining productive working relationships with key customers and members of the global IT organization.

Minimum Requirements

  • Five years experience in communications, marketing and/or public relations with a focus on technology with large, global organizations.

  • Degree in communications, marketing or related field.

  • Strong executive presence and presentation skills with demonstrable experience working with executive management to advance key objectives.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, management and vendors.

  • Strong project management experience with large and varied stakeholder groups.

  • Robust skills with the Microsoft Office and Adobe.

  • Demonstrated experience in graphics design.

  • Strong knowledge of IT terminology and operating models.

  • Self-motivated, individual contributor that is willing to take initiative and ownership without waiting for direction.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Executes responsibilities with a sense of urgency and follow-through.

  • Customer service mind-set and a team player mentality.

  • Positive, proactive work ethic and approach.
