Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Workplace Strategy Consultant for employment in the New York, NY office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for supporting our consulting projects with leading corporations, healthcare and cultural institutions, universities, and local and federal government

  • Support the project team in managing and delivering specific activities within a project, including handling aspects such as the timeline, client interaction, and communication, through delivery with oversight from a task leader or project manager

  • Diagramming, data analysis and visualization, space programming, conceptual design, and workshop and presentation preparation

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Planning, or Design or other relevant field

  • Interest in user research, design strategy and space programming

  • Solid presentation development and delivery skills

  • Familiarity with research methodologies and processes

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong graphic skills

  • Comfortable with data analysis and visualization

  • Persuasive writing skills

  • Self starter

  • Effective self manager of assigned task and time/schedule

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, open, collaborative environment

  • The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

  • High degree of flexibility

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Competency in Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree

  • Familiarity with Sketch-Up and other multi-media technologies

  • Revit experience

  • Previous experience in similar design consultancy services
