Our Communications team is seeking an energetic and motivated individual interested in growing within a large global company. The Communications Coordinator will be a solutions-oriented team player, with a demonstrated track record of being proactive and reliable. Additionally, he / she will have exemplary writing and editing skills, proven digital prowess, and be at ease working with senior-level management. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Source, author / co-author and edit content for internal platforms such as newsletters, executive messaging, intranet stories and presentations.

  • Draft and execute internal communications campaigns, respond to stakeholder inquiries and monitor engagement.

  • Assist the Communications team on special projects as needed; requiring the ability to stay informed of department activities on a consistent basis.

  • Maintain and update company’s digital knowledge center and archives utilizing multiple internal database systems.

  • Oversee all aspects of company’s intranet pages, including creating content and developing initiatives to drive traffic.

  • Work closely with multiple business lines to ensure an open line of communication for updates, survey/award opportunities, and project milestones.

  • Collaborate with corporate departments (e.g., Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Safety, etc.) to develop strategic communications plans that drive engagement and streamline communications.#SM1

Minimum Requirements

  • 2-5 years of related work experience, preferably in an AEC industry

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, or Communications preferred

  • Superior editing and proofreading abilities, with proven experience in telling stories and adopting the right tone of voice for communication across different channels and for different target audiences

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • A proven team player who thrives in a collaborative environment; evidence of discretion and tact in dealing with people and issues

  • Mature and independent individual who can juggle multiple assignments with minimal supervision in a fast paced deadline driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative and relationship building skills

  • Highly organized, able to work independently under pressure to strict deadlines, prioritizing tasks with strong attention to detail

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint or similar platform

  • Knowledgeable in Adobe Photoshop

  • Enthusiastic and passionate

  • Interest in learning new digital platforms

  • Effective team player, who effectively works to direction and is also a self-starter

  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
