Position Title Senior Traction & Distribution Expert

Job Summary

AECOM India is seeking a Senior Traction & Distribution Expert to provide support to with experience in preparing designs associated with rail traction and electrical systems. You will have a real passion for technical excellence and enjoy the challenge of delivering multi-discipline projects.

The primary focus of this role is to undertake Rail Traction and Electrical System design and detailed drawings. The role is a multi-faceted role assisting in multiple projects, whilst having direct client interaction.

Minimum Requirements

  • Total 20 years of experience and at least 7 years of Metro Rail Industry Experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent

  • Electrical design skills in any of the following - traction power, overhead lines, secondary systems

  • Knowledge of AC and DC traction power systems

  • In depth knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and industry guidelines

  • Demonstrated ability to present and explain various design options and outcomes to clients

  • Demonstrated experience in preparing client reports

  • Industrial and utility experience would be advantageous

Ensures conformance to quality, performance, safety and/or code requirements by overseeing inspection duties.

Preferred Qualifications

Masters degree or equivalent.
