About the Business Line
Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.
AECOM’s Environment Business Line is currently seeking an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer to join our team of professionals in our Mississauga office.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide technical expertise in support of on-going AECOM geotechnical projects
Work with other geotechnical staff to provide services for current and prospective clients, and actively participate in local and regional collaborative opportunities
Maintain positive working relationships with client contacts, suppliers, contractors, engineering consultants and external agencies
Conduct technical review and undertake analysis and design for geotechnical components related to highway and railway projects, utilities, building structures, energy projects and other civil infrastructure projects
Work with the team on projects in the GTA, and collaborate on projects across Ontario
The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary, collaborative multinational team focused on delivery of superior services to our clients. This is a challenging position for a self-motivated individual that offers an excellent opportunity for career growth.
Bachelors degree in Geotechnical engineering or equivalent
5+ years of geotechnical experience
Currently registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to manage time effectively
Willingness to work flexible hours under a variety of conditions
- Post graduate degree in Engineering or Environmental Science
