AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented and hardworking Document Controller for immediate employment in the Mississauga, Ontario office. This position is ideal for someone who truly enjoys working on unique projects, multitasking and interacting with people. This is a TEMPORARY position.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Perform document management tasks as needed for a LRT project - Filing, Tracking, Creating, Scanning, and Archival of documentation
Maintain document controls system
Follow document controls process
Control of all project documents ensuring compliance to the Project Quality Plan, Project Document Control Plan and Client Standards
Assists in document quality audits by internal and external auditors and ensure compliance in accordance with the project document control procedures
Review completeness of documentation against contract submittal requirements and prepare document transmittals to the owner, agency departments, project staff, design and engineering consultants and/or construction managers
Any other duties assigned

High school diploma
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient in MS Office suite Professional of applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel
Understanding of the use and functionality of Project/Construction Management databases (i.e. SharePoint, Project Wise or any other document management system)
Must be thorough, well organized, and effectively manage time
Must be flexible and able to work in a very fast paced work environment and at times under the pressure of meeting critical deadlines
High level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential; able to prioritize multiple tasks
Ability to work in a team as well as independently
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in related field
2+ years of previous relevant work experience
