Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.

Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Administrative Assistant for employment in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin office. AECOM is searching for candidates that have the ability to be a role model, be client-focused, be impactful and be decisive.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide administrative support to office staff which includes formatting technical reports, proposals, memos, data entry, soil boring logs and other project-based deliverables

  • Provide local operations with administrative support

  • Code and process invoices and work with supply chain vendors/contractors

  • Order office supplies, validate materials, and distribute materials/supplies; book conference rooms and arrange for catering

  • Coordinate conference calls/WebEx and internal presentations

  • Act as receptionist

  • Answer telephones, files, schedules and prepare conference rooms

  • Other duties as needed to support office functions

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Excellent ability to interact and effectively communicate with all levels of technical and other administrative staff

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

  • Team player who is willing to take ownership of assigned work with ability to prioritize tasks, establish and meet deadlines

  • Effective planning and organization skills; detail oriented and deadline driven

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates degree preferred

  • 1-2 years of related experience

  • Experience in a fast-pace engineering/consulting environment

  • Experience with document management, proposals / report writing and document production

  • Ability to edit grammar and correct formatting issues
