About the Business Line


We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design-build.

Job Summary

Our civil water resources team lead and support a variety of projects in the transport, water, urban development, and defence, markets. We are seeking an experienced flood modeller to lead the delivery of the water resources aspects of some of the most exciting projects across Melbourne and Australia.

You will be responsible for:

  • Preparing proposal documentation

  • Developing and running hydrologic and hydraulic models

  • Documentation including written reports

Minimum Requirements

  • 2 - 4 years’ of experience, in a consulting firm working on medium and large flood projects

  • High level of proficiency in RORB and TUFLOW is essential

  • Ability to use Arc GIS and MapInfo

  • Strong client focus, high level of motivation and dedication and the ability work well in a team environment with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Able to lead technical discussions on flood model impacts on key infrastructure assets

  • High level inter-personal communication skills.

  • Security clearance for Australian Defence projects (or an ability to obtain this)

  • A positive attitude to your work and contribute to a fun team environment

  • Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure on major projects

  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills
