Our professionals specialize in design, master planning, environmental and ecological planning, strategic planning and economic development. We create implementable solutions that promote sustainable land use and enhance quality of life.

Job Summary

In this role you willbe responsible for providing support to the Design and Planning team inservicing internal and external client requirements whilst working across awide range of matters and project types.

Responsibilitiesinclude, but are not restricted to the following:

· Strategyand Policy analysis and development

· Preparing Landuse planning due diligence assessments, development facilitation strategies, planningapprovals and process management

· Masterplanning and structure planning in key urban locations

· Leadingand managing projects, scoping and costing of projects, tracking job costs andworking to specification

· Providingtimely and accurate planning advice.

· Workingalongside other professionals on a range of multi-disciplinary projects

· Liaisingwith internal and external Clients and Consultants and key stakeholders asrequired

· Supportingand initiating business development activities

· Coordinatingwork of junior planners

· Workingwithin set criteria, deadlines, budget and with a commercial outcome

· Preparingall documentation in accordance with AECOM and/ or Project standard formats

Minimum Requirements

To be successful in this role you will have a relevant tertiaryqualification in Planning with a minimum of five years experience in the fieldwith a thorough understanding of statutory and strategic planning principlesand an ability to provide practical and analytical advice. A passion and pro-activenessin producing insightful and high quality work and advice, will be key selectioncriteria. Additional qualifications in affiliated professions such as design,land use economics or property would be well regarded.
