Job Summary

AECOM is currently seeking Cleared Full-time Security Monitors. Positions require applicants have an

active TS/SCI Government Clearance with Polygraph to be considered for interview.

Full-time Day Shift: Monday through Friday 7am-3:30pm, will consider 7:30am-4pm

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Monitor and escort uncleared persons at the facility.

  • Provide verbal and written reports regarding pertinent safety, security, facility, or personnel issues/incidents

  • Maintain visual contact and proper line of sight with uncleared personnel at all times.

  • Respond professionally and courteously to all personnel.

  • Remain alert and awake at all times to provide appropriate security monitoring of escorted individuals.

  • Work around active construction areas and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

  • Work in industrial locations (mechanical and electrical rooms, etc).

  • Properly sanitize areas prior to escorting uncleared personnel into designated work areas.

  • Walk long distances, climb stairs (including stepladders, etc.), sit/stand for long periods of time.

  • Wear appropriate work attire which may include a company provided dress uniform.

  • Evening/holiday hours possible.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active Top Secret SCI clearance with government polygraph; TS/SCI

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1+ year security experience.

  • Ability to stand/sit for long periods of time.

  • State/local licenses (DCJS unarmed security officer) must be obtained within 90 days of date of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to provide written and verbal incident reports to various customers

  • State/local licenses (DCJS unarmed security officer)
