Job Summary

AECOM is currently seeking a Full-time Security Monitor Team Lead to support a customer site in McLean, VA. Team Lead duties include:

  • Provide supervisory oversight to a team of Security Monitors by ensuring all Monitor duties are followed

  • Develop daily schedules to meet daily Monitor requirements

  • Manage time and attendance for Monitor team

  • Record and report monthly metrics based on Monitor requests

  • Regular Monday through Friday schedule between 6am and 4pm (8 hour work day plus 30 minute lunch break.)

  • Evening/holiday hours possible

Monitors duties include the following of which you will provide oversight.

  • Monitor and escort uncleared persons at the facility

  • Provide verbal and written reports regarding pertinent safety, security, facility, or personnel issues/incidents

  • Maintain visual contact and proper line of sight with uncleared personnel at all times

  • Respond professionally and courteously to all personnel

  • Remain alert and awake at all times to provide appropriate security monitoring of escorted individuals

  • Work in industrial locations (mechanical and electrical rooms, etc.)

  • Properly sanitize areas prior to escorting uncleared personnel into designated work areas

  • Walk long distances, climb stairs (including stepladders, etc.), sit/stand for long periods of time

  • Wear a company provided dress uniform

Minimum Requirements

  • An active Top Secret Clearance with SCI and polygraph; TS/SCI with polygraph

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • At least 3 years of Security Monitoring experience in a secure environment

  • Basic Computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.)

  • Must be dependable and punctual

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to provide written and verbal incident reports to various customers
