Position Title Mechanical Maintenance Helper

Provide assistance to various skilled tradesmen as assigned.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist tradesmen in any or all of tradesmen’s work from simple to complex tasks.
Work is performed under general direction of higher-classification tradesmen.
Observe all safety practices, procedures, directives, and use proper PPE as required.
Perform other job related duties as assigned.
Must be able to physically lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs
Ability to climb, crawl, bend, and/or sit in cramped or uncomfortable places and positions.
Ability to comprehend written and oral instructions.
A willingness to work rotational shift if necessary, including days, evenings and nights, as well as, overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Must have valid driver’s license.
Any experience in work related to building maintenance or construction.
High school, trade school, vocational school graduate or equivalent required.
Must be a U.S. Citizen, and able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance with polygraph credentials.
Ability to write correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
