AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. Job Summary

This position is responsible for assisting Utility Manger to perform various tasks of generating reports and update drawings using AutoCAD; Conducting price search and request price quote from vendors to purchase replacement parts. Database management for equipment maintenance.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist manager in warranty issues, part replacement researches.

  • Translate work requirement from clients into specific scope of works, and statement of works for project; Contacting and coordinating various vendors to obtain competitive bids.

  • Compile given raw electrical data and generate formal reports for presentation.

  • Write and revise mechanical/electrical switching procedures for equipment maintenance; Capture new equipment and create new record in Maximo for periodic maintenance.

  • Attend meetings and briefing customers on current operation issues. Propose best practiced, sound solutions for clients’ consideration.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be a rising Sophomore or Junior for Fall Semester of 2017.

  • As of February/2017, must be still engaging in current Mechanical Engineering curriculums at the university and intend to graduate with BSME major.

  • Proficient in using MS Excel as tools. Be able to generate report for presentation using MS PowerPoint.

  • Must be able and willing to work on some Saturdays or Sundays to support client’s mission

  • Safety oriented; must be a good steward to promote environment protection and employee safety.

  • Understand the concept of Air flow, Mass flow, Air pressure, liquid temperature and other basic principle of thermal dynamics.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong academic background in AutoCAD

  • Finished core course works such as Static, Dynamics, Heat Transfer or Thermal Dynamic, Electrical circuit I and II.
