About the Business Line

Government

AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.

Job Summary

AECOM is currently seeking an Estimator / Scheduler.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work. Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors.

  • Organize and coordinate project production schedule.

  • Coordinate activities to make sure deadlines are both reasonable and met on time.

  • Streamline processes and operations to maximize output efficiency using extensive industry based knowledge and experience to best achieve goals.

  • Must work closely with all departments to troubleshoot and get back in line any delays in projects.

  • Serves as a communications bridge in connecting with management using staff meetings, reports and idea exchanges.

  • Collect and analyze data in order to estimate the time, money, materials, and labor required to perform projects for the client.

  • Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active Top Secret SCI Clearance with polygraph. TS/SCI with polygraph

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with the management of productions schedules and pricing of projects.

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • MS Project experience

  • Must have leadership abilities and ability to work with a diverse range of clientele

  • Ability to use Scheduling software to ensure administration of production and coordination of projects.

  • Attention to detail, problem solving and the capability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

  • Must have experience in coordinating the allocation of resources

  • Basic computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree

  • MAXIMO experience preferred.
