AECOM has an opportunity for an experienced Information Technology Manager located in McLean VA. This position is responsible for overall operation of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) hosting an unclassified network. This includes the staffing, hardware, software, applications, training requests, budgeting and primary government contact for issues related to the unclassified network and systems.
Supervise the use of all IT systems used on the program. Serve as the System Custodian for all systems, and provide technical advice to the program management team and to the customer on the development and use of automated work management systems.
Develop the master plan for increased use of automated work scheduling and management systems to ensure that all work is planned, scheduled, controlled and tracked in the most cost effective manner in coordination with the management staff.
Direct the activities of the all direct reports, oversee hardware and software maintenance and technical support subcontracts, develop and direct training programs, and coordinate with customer staff and the AECOM Security Officer to ensure system security.
Serve as central point of contact for software system support. Recommend data processing hardware, software, LAN configuration and operation. Oversees the trouble shooting, correction of data processing equipment and software problems.
Active Top Secret SCI Clearance with Polygraph – TS/SCI with poly
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, or a closely related field
8 years’ experience in managing a medium to large network utilizing Windows AD and DC
5 years’ working with complex systems and applications
Personnel management experience with excellent oral and written communication skills
SQL Server and Oracle Database Systems
