Position Title Bilingual HR People Services Coordinator
Canada - Ontario
AECOM is seeking a Bilingual People Services Coordinator to be located in Markham, ON. This person will be responsible for the administration of HR programs in Canada and employee file maintenance. The position will also be responsible for handling day to day HR service delivery which includes employee lifecycle transactions and onboarding tasks related to new hire activities.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
Perform administrative duties related HR functions
Assist in the creation and maintenance of HR forms and communications
Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports based on the requirements from Operations and the Human Resources group
Audit incoming new employee paperwork and process through employee paperwork tracking software (AIMS)
Create employee cases in eConnect (HR Case Management System) for processing within established Service Level Agreements
Process high-level confidential requests for employee information
As requested, gather information from employee files, Oracle and legacy information systems in a timely manner
Facilitate background checks for new hires by working with an external provider
Work on special projects and perform other job-related duties as needed
Work start and end time may vary to ensure support to Canadian provinces operating in time zones other than Eastern
2+ years in an HR administrative capacity
Bilingual- English/ French
Strong oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of Canadian HR regulations
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications (i.e. MS Excel, Access, Word)
Motivated self-starter and team player is essential
Strong administrative, organizational, communication and customer service skills
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of information handled
- Previous experience generating offer letters and onboarding employees preferred
