Position Title Operations Manager
Germany - Baden-Württemberg
This position is located in Mannheim, Germany.
The Operations Manager is directly responsible for the day to day planning required to ensure synchronization across all areas of the operation for APS-2 - European Activity Set (EAS).
Manages daily operational execution as related to the cost, schedule and technical performance of the operation in accordance with contractual and business requirements.
Develops and implements strategic and tactical planning.
Ensures company and customer quality requirements are incorporated into all operations procedures.
Ensures operational contract performance goals and requirements are met and that quality services are delivered to the supported Unit and the EAS effort.
Identifies potential project problems or opportunities, analyzes the issues using all appropriate resources, develops alternatives, and arrives at the most optimum approach to mitigate problems or to develop opportunities.
Maintains open communication with the project manager and customer, as appropriate, regarding any issues which may have a detrimental or positive impact on contract performance.
Provides senior management and the customer with required reports in a timely manner.
Manages resources to meet mission requirements.
Maintains professional business relationships with internal and external customers.
Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Procedure Compliance - Each employee must read, understand and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures and policies pertaining to his/her job.
A minimum fifteen (15) years of management experience in U.S. Army logistics operations with relevant experience at the battalion level or higher. Extensive general supervisory experience in areas of maintenance, supply, transportation and quality
management. Experience with financial management and knowledge of US Army systems to include STAMIS, AWRDS, GCSS and USR Must be highly familiar with, be able to implement, and manage an ISO quality management system TESA/ASSA certification
U.S. Citizenship and a SECRET security clearance required.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and a government background check.
Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
Bachelor’s degree preferred
