The Financial Analyst intern , will work under close supervision of the Operational Control Manager, and will be in charge of the following duties and tasks:
Directly assist the Operational Control Manager in the following tasks:
Budget & financial management of projects: assistance to PAD and PM/Sr PMs in project budget execution supervision and improvement; budget control, supporting documents control and invoicing follow up. Control, supervision and reporting support within the frame of activityies of PAD unit.
Consortia partners: support to PMs and Sr PMs in contractual issues, invoicing, payment, information & communication.
Audit & Closing down procedures: support PADs/Sr PADs in project auditing supervision.
Assist the project team and ensure project completion within budget, schedule and in conformance with specifications.
Assist in the preparation ofinvoices of projects.
Assist in reviewing purchase orders, invoices, contracts.
Support to the senior PAD’s managing multiple project accounting functions, including responsibility for preparation and issuance of reports and statistics reflecting financial results. Administer approved accounting practices at project level to ensure that financial and operating reports accurately reflect the condition of the business and provide reliable information necessary to control operations. Also provides project administrative support and coordination to a complex contract, project, task(s) or business unit.
Training and education:
Bachelors in Business Administration, Economics or Finance (University agreement)
Advanced user level computer skills
Postgraduate diploma (MS, MBA)
Knowledge of EU Aid Development projects:donors,contracting procedures, etc.
- English (at least C2 level in EU standards).

Interpersonal and communication skills
Capacity to meet deadlines and follow several programmes of different nature
Competency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Organised, systematic and able to set priorities
No prior experience is required, it would be advantage to have professional experience on financial management/controlling.
