We address the complete spectrum of energy challenges, including clean and renewable energy, energy efficiency and carbon management, hydropower and dams, thermal, geothermal and wind power generation, and transmission and distribution.

Job Summary

The incumbent will directly supervise the EPC Contractor’s delivery of the project. This role is site based for the 30 months period of construction and commissioning.

Reporting to the Project Manager you will be responsible for:

  • ensuring the project is completed with utmost attention to Healthy, Safety and Environment (HSE) and Quality Assurance (QA);

  • ensuring the contractors complies with its obligations;

  • supervision and management of project staff and contractors;

  • reporting to the various project stakeholders; and

  • managing a budget and schedule.

  • Ensuring protocols are observed for Change Management, Risk Management, HSE Management etc.

Minimum Requirements

  • Min Bachelor degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering with strong experience in Hydropower project experience

  • At least 10 years of experience with min 2 years of site management role

  • Candidates with extensive site based multi-disciplinary infrastructure and/or resources construction project experience will also be closely considered.

  • Must have multi-contractor managing experience.

  • In addition to your strong contractor supervision skills, you must be a logical thinker with good problem solving skills, organised and a good communicator with a range of stakeholders including the community.

Preferred Qualifications

Min Bachelor degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering or any other relevant qualification
