About the Business Line


We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design-build.

Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Training/SOPs; Transition Strategy/Change Management; O&M Tasks/Strategies. The position will be responsible for supporting AECOM Project Manager in delivering the training program, reviewing the maintenance program, preparing the SOPs and addressing the licensing issues. She/he will also be readily available to OCSD management for consultation on the operation and maintenance of the OCSD power production facility.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 15+ years of experience

  • U.S. Citizenship required

  • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse testThe training instructor must have process experience as listed below:

  • Process overview

  • Process diagrams and equipment boundary isolation points

  • Process requirements

  • Start-up and shut-down procedures

  • Updating Standard Operating Procedures for biogas clean-up, internal combustion engines, Heat Recovery Steam Generators, boilers, emergency generators, and the electrical systems as needed

  • Electrical outages for medium and high voltage (480 v, 4.8KV-13.8KV)switchgears to perform maintenance

  • Air permit requirements, and compliance, monitoring and reporting protocols

  • Potential impacts of Cen-Gen facilities on Waste Discharge Permit Requirements and NPDES requirements

  • Lock-Out/Tag-Out protocols

  • Safety awareness and training

  • Confined space

  • Electrical systems, switchgears, emergency generators

  • Control systems, PLC’s

  • Licensing requirements

  • Management strategy

  • Transition strategy


  • Diesel Engineer License,

  • Unlimited Steam License

  • Marine Engineer License

  • Grade V Wastewater Treatment Operator License
