Job Summary

As a member of our new enterprise-wide Collaborative Sales and Client Account Management team, will be a sales and analytical, big picture thinker who is driven to enhance and further the mission of the organization by leveraging technology. Will lead and drive the Salesforce strategy to create value across the organization and foster an environment where innovation becomes an integral and differentiating component of organizational culture and brand.

The Salesforce Practice Lead will lead the organization to focus on implementing both top-level, strategic, innovative technology solutions and day-to-day tactics that drive efficiency, effectiveness and value.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Vision and Strategy : Developing short-and long-term vision and strategic plans for the Salesforce.com Practice based on, vision, objectives, plans and operating requirements. Is a core contributor in defining the Sales/Marketing/Customer Service CRM vision.

  • Culture : Building a customer-service first mindset and developing a responsive, effective team that keeps the mission of the organization on top.

  • Governance : Building the governance structure for the Global model and assisting with regional configuration and deployment (the implementation roadmap).

  • Leadership : Hire, develop, lead, manage and retain a highly qualified SFDC professional staff.

  • Collaboration : Establishing and maintaining good working relationships and partnerships, both internally and externally.

  • Budget Management : Creating the Salesforce.com budget, monitoring performance against the budget and ensuring budget compliance through creating effective partnerships and negotiating advantageous agreements with service providers and vendors.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the organization in developing a global SFDC and Governance Structure.

  • Participating in the development of technical and functional specifications.

  • Selecting global partners for configuration, deployment and support.

  • Configuring SFDC to the defined specifications.

  • Developing and maintaining technical and functional documentation.

  • Cross training the technical team.

  • Supporting the Global SFDC environment including troubleshooting, security and licensing.

  • Leading testing for SFDC updates/releases.

  • Assisting in the definition of the master data clean-up process.

This position can be located in Los Angeles, New York or Austin.

Minimum Requirements

Must be a Salesforce professional with a broad business orientation and key competencies including strategic thought, project management, software development, partnership development, analytical capability and pragmatic execution. In addition, must be a well-rounded, sophisticated Salesforce.com professional who is strategic, customer-focused and adaptable with proven experience leading through technology driven innovation.

The ideal candidate will be an IT/sales executive who possesses an outstanding record of corporate professional experience and accomplishment with a reputation for increasing productivity and growth at a complex worldwide enterprise. Must have experience quickly evaluating sales and IT organizations, developing and implementing strategies and leading teams to partner with business units to effectively integrate new approaches and change.

Requirements include:

  • 12+ years of overall IT and consulting experience with at least four years in leadership/people management positions and leading a global CRM teams.

  • Extensive experience in the implementation, management, optimization and enhancements of Salesforce in large, global environments.

  • Experience owning and driving industry solutions on CRM platforms and leading delivery and presales functions of a growing CRM technology practice.

  • Proven ability to project manage SFDC implementations, manage vendors and implementation contractors.

  • In-depth experience building and managing detailed project plans and identifying required resources.

  • Experience troubleshooting IT and business process issues.

This position can be located in Los Angeles, New York or Austin.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or related advanced degree.

  • Experience working with Customer Engagement technologies/teams (i.e. Social Media, Digital Marketing).

  • Salesforce training and/or certifications.
