Position Title Global Delivery Excellence Leader - Risk and Profitability

Job Summary

The objectives of AECOM’s Risk and Profitability Management work stream are to drive project profitability through early detection and consistent pricing of proposals, enhanced life cycle processes, healthy starts and restarts on projects, support of the High Risk Project review process and standardized reporting and data quality improvements. The work stream maintains a presence across all of AECOM’s geographies, bringing transparency to key information and indicators to promote accountability and gross margin improvement. As the leader of this work stream, will be responsible for:

  • Supporting and coordinating the High Risk Project review (C-0) process across all Geographies and Regions

  • Managing a team of four project specialists and collaborating with a team of four legal specialists.

  • Promoting and driving the Healthy Start process through the organization with the goal of achieving 80% of new Gross Revenue backlog reviewed.

  • Developing Healthy Start management information through Insight and ePM, tracking timeliness and effectiveness of the Healthy Start process.

  • Collaborating with Global Delivery Excellence (DE) Leads to improve net gained and lost margin percentage year on year for DCS by 0.5%.

  • Developing predictive indicators for the DCS business that can be demonstrated to have a statistically significant impact on the mean net gained and lost margin of projects.

  • Enhancing ePM reporting by developing an Insight based suite of reports for ePM users that are not available within the ePM platform E.g. portfolio views, PM performance, etc.

  • Continuing to streamline the AECOM Bid Model (ABM) through linking ABM with ePM, advancing the integration with ePM and providing continual refinement of the model.

  • Advancing Corporate and DE Initiatives reporting including refreshing DCS MBR for FY18, GDS, DTW, Quality, Healthy Starts in MBR Ops and Sales Activity in CAM reports.

  • Progressing the integration of corporate systems into Insight such as ePM, Industry Safe and Lifeguard.

  • Developing and determining predictive indicators of net lost/gain margin, piloting usage and incorporating into the Monthly Business Review.

  • Managing the Reporting and Analytics team currently based in Dubai.

This position can be located in any major US metropolitan city.

Minimum Requirements

  • 15 or more years experience in large-scale, complex Finance, Project Management, Operations.

  • Experience working with systems such as Insight, Oracle and Salesforce.

  • Strong management reporting, financial analysis and KPI experience.

  • Proven ability to build strong, highly effective working relationships with key operational leaders.

  • Experience working across multiple geographies (DSCA, APAC, EMIA).

  • Experience managing teams, preferably based in multiple locations.

  • Experience facilitating collaboration across functional support groups such as IT and HR.

  • Experience reporting and presenting to Executive Leadership.

  • Experience managing complex internal projects with multiple moving parts, ensuring goals and targets are achieved.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree, such as an MBA, and/or specialized training.
