Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a Field Logistics Lead for the Los Angeles, CA office.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working in the field 2-3 times per week, in locations throughout Los Angeles County, and serve as a mentor/manager to the field assessment teams

  • Understand and implement process directives regarding Pre and Full facility assessments

  • Lead the weekly field team meeting - provide feedback to the team members and the home team

  • Serve as the communication bridge between the field and home team

  • Manage the team hours; ensure the teams are on schedule and within their allocated hours.

  • Ensure that the approved schedule is met and work with home team to recover the schedule if/when necessary

  • Troubleshoot/Escalate any issues between surveyors and the County Points of Contact

  • Take the lead with the sub consultant firms - be the point of contact and help to solve any issues between AECOM and sub consultant firms.

  • Ensure the assessment teams are following AECOM safety protocols and report violations, as well as implement training

  • Report to technology team/troubleshoot technology issues with assessment equipment in the field

  • Scheduling staff assignments

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 10+ years of experience in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction

  • 5+ years of Project/Team Management experience

  • Licensed as a Registered Architect

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Willing to commit to a 24-month project

  • Willing and able to drive to locations throughout Los Angeles County at least 3 days per week to supervise field assessors/staff

  • Proficient in technology, including use of IPads, AutoCAD, Microsoft Suite
