Job Summary

THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE EMPLOYEE REFERRAL PROGRAM

DUTIES: Survey and document existing site conditions and functional requirements. Conduct architectural and interior studies and assist in the development of architectural solutions to meet project specifications and ensuring compliance with building standards, established architectural practices, and building codes. Prepare designs, reports, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, working drawings, developing details and editing specifications. Adapt and modify design features and operational methods to meet a variety of situations. Participate in the design process, with an emphasis on the preparation of drawings and graphics to express the project’s design intent. Produce rendered plans, sections, elevations, concept diagrams and 3D modeling through the use of 3DS Max, Revit, Google SketchUp, Bluebeam Revu, V-Ray, Adobe Creative Suite CS5, Rhino 3D and Grasshopper, and AutoCAD presentation tools. Work under the direction of a Principal, Project Architect, Project Designer or Project Manager. Perform routine applications involving the use of computer-aided software.

Minimum Requirements

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Architecture or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of experience involving: development of architectural design solutions using computer software, including 3DS Max, Revit, Google SketchUp, Bluebeam Revu, V-Ray, Rhino 3D and Grasshopper, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite CS5; building standards, established architectural practices, and building code compliance; and designs, reports, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, working drawings, developing details and editing specifications.
