Job Summary

The Corporate Vice President, Global Assistant Treasurer will be responsible for managing the day-to-day cash management, risk management, and banking and capital structure activities of the organization. The Global Assistant Treasurer will serve as a key partner to AECOM’s Treasurer, driving and reporting on key performance metrics as well as analyzing and recommending opportunities to address the company’s strategic and operating needs around the world.

Cash management responsibilities include driving the achievement of cash flow targets, ensuring operations have liquidity to support ongoing business needs and utilizing excess cash pursuant to the organization’s capital allocation strategy. Risk management comprises the mitigation of financial impacts arising from changes in interest rates and foreign exchange, ensuring that the organization remains compliant with the terms of all financing arrangements and oversight of contingent credit obligations of the company. Banking and capital structure responsibilities comprise the development of strategy and execution of financing needs while maintaining critical banking and other credit-related relationships essential to preserving the Company’s access to capital at optimal terms.

The Global Assistant Treasurer will work with AECOM’s Treasurer and the AECOM Treasury team to ensure these responsibilities are carried out in compliance with policies and procedures that meet the organization’s objectives, needs and regulatory body requirements. The role will be based at the Company’s corporate headquarters in Los Angeles and will require occasional travel.

Main Duties

  • Provide leadership support to AECOM Treasury geography and corporate verticals in carrying out activities

  • Spearhead key projects for Treasurer, relating to productivity, liquidity and corporate finance

  • Lead quarterly cash/debt positioning effort to meet forecasted KPIs

  • Work with capital markets team to ensure ongoing compliance with terms of company’s third party financing agreements

  • Lead quarterly preparation and review of Company’s reported results and associated disclosure

  • Ensure Board CEO delegations and Enterprise delegations of authority are enforced as they pertain to treasury and finance related needs

  • Assist with relationship management for AECOM banks, credit agencies, debt investors and sureties

  • Manage Treasury analyst pool to optimize staffing across range of treasury disciplines

Minimum Requirements

  • Ten to fifteen years of corporate treasury experience

  • Effective communicator with demonstrated ability to influence internal and external constituencies

  • Past/current experience in growth-oriented global services company

  • Corporate finance fluency, including financial modeling capabilities

  • Public debt market experience preferred (rating agencies and marketing public fixed income offerings)

  • Experience with M&A execution and integration in US and foreign markets

  • Demonstrated success building consensus to execute opportunities in project-based corporate environment

  • Finance/accounting or other technical background

  • Advanced degree (MBA, JD, etc.)

  • Investment banking, financial services or legal background
