Job Summary

AECOM has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Vendor Project Manager in Los Alamos, New Mexico.

The successful candidate will interface with working groups and customers from outside organizations as needed to complete work scope. Provide Conduct-of-Operations leadership and oversight. Develop corrective action plans for issues related to work scope. Provide operations input to engineering for process improvements and equipment maintenance/configuration. Develop new procedures as needed for WC equipment and processes. Supervise maintenance of equipment and systems. Direct the work of CCP characterization subcontractors and ensure their qualification to perform assigned scope of work. Obtain authorization to operate CCP processes from host facility management.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with two (2) years of related experience, or

  • Associate’s Degree with six (6) years of related experience, or

  • High School Diploma or GED with ten (10) years of related experience, is required.

  • Knowledge of basic computer skills is required.

  • One (1) year in a supervisory role.

  • Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be US Citizens.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Five (5) years’ experience executing work in a DOE nuclear facility is preferred.
