Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a hardworking and highly motivated Vice President-Ports and Marine Sector–Intermodal and Port Rail Leader for immediate employment in the Golden Shore Long Beach California office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as the Sales/Marketing/Project Director

  • Southern California Seaport rail systems and intermodal yard planning and design

  • National Ports and Marine Sector interface with National Heavy Rail Sector

  • National seaport rail systems and intermodal yard planning and design; inter-region coordination and leadership

Minimum Requirements

  • 15+ years experience with port rail facility design and planning, including 10+ years of experience of Port Rail in California and general port planning

  • Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 20+ years experience with port rail facility design and planning, including 10+ years of experience of Port Rail

  • Ability to travel frequently to national destinations for marketing, sales, and project director duties

  • Experience in marketing and sales to Southern California ports
