Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Rail Engineer for immediate employment for the Orange, CA office. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

  • Lead engineering production team in specialized designs including: basemap preparation, demolition, surface modeling, grading, drainage, railroad track, roadway, utility protection/installation, lighting, fire systems, yard compressed air systems, fencing, striping and pavement

  • Coordinate production, direct staff, design reviews, quality control, document preparation and client relations

  • Ability to lead engineering production team in specialized seaport and rail-related designs including:

  • Demolition

  • Surface modeling

  • Grading and drainage

  • Utility protection/installation

  • Fire systems

  • Yard compressed air systems

  • General civil engineering features

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

  • 10+ years' experience

  • PE Registration

  • Knowledge of port and railroad design standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • 12+ years' experience preferred
