Job Summary

AECOM is looking to recruit a Business Partner Analyst to join their established finance teams in either Wimbledon or Birmingham. Other office locations will be considered.

The key purpose of this role is to support the Financial Partner & Analyst Manager by being a key contact for the Operational finance team. The role will also provide ad-hoc support as required to the FP&A Manager, Regional FD’s and wider FP&A Team.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide system and complex excel reporting and analysis

Support Operational FD’s in understanding End Market performance

Partner with Operational FD’s and Financial Analysis team to develop reporting package to support End Market reporting structure.

Support monthly forecasting process.

Support annual planning process.

Assist in preparing analysis, commentary and presentation material for the monthly and quarterly financial and operational review meetings

Develop thorough analysis and explanation of variance drivers, both financial and operational

Participate in special project work as required

Assist in Functional support reviews and complete analysis

Support Working Capital review by improving accuracy of forecasting and reporting

Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments as they are identified.

Be a team player across the Finance Team

Minimum Requirements

To be successful in this role we would like to hear from candidates with the following;

Part qualified or interested in pursuing an accounting qualification

Advanced excel skills

Strong analytical & problem solving skills

Must be pro-active and demonstrate ability to see things through to the end

Very high attention to detail

Strong oral \ written communications skills

Ability to be resourceful, hands on and work both independently and as part of high-performing team

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency

You will also be able to work to tight deadlines and handle multiple sometimes changing priorities.

Team player with excellent listening skills and diplomacy; willingness to work with multiple different colleagues on a variety of initiatives
