AECOM continues to develop and grow its Architecture business in EMIA. The key focus for this role is to develop our architecture studio teams. This role description relates to leadership for Healthcare Architecture in the United Kingdom.

AECOM’s healthcare practice is currently partnered with several contractor organizations on the Procure 22 framework, and we are seeking a Healthcare Architect with significant experience of the prior Procure 21 framework to lead our multidisciplinary design teams on this framework.

This is an opportunity for an ambitious architect to move into a leadership role in a progressive practice.

Minimum Requirements

Work in conjunction with the Global Healthcare leadership to develop and improve the AECOM architectural offer in Healthcare

Activities will include:

Member of EMIA Architecture Leadership.

Studio Leadership

  • Business development

  • Team Building & leadership

  • Commercial management of projects

  • Design review of own and other studio outputs

  • Research & Development

  • Thought Leadership

  • Project Leadership and Key Client interface

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ideally Degree qualified in Architecture. Appropriate chartered status is essential.

  • Significant proven experience with the Procure 21 Framework

  • Will have successfully led teams of 10+ people from Stage 0 to completion in the Healthcare Architecture sector

  • Have proven experience of practice management and leadership

  • Significant and recognised client facing capabilities in the Healthcare Market Sector.

  • Will be familiar with the practice culture which is required to achieve a ‘high design’ architectural product.

  • Able to lead the process for mentoring of graduate & development of professional training programme.

  • Will be a proven practitioner with significant international project experience, and a design product which is recognised by the relevant market.
