Job Summary

Essential Job Function: Employee will support RPA/UAS maintenance program as a Deployment Coordinator. Location of assignment is Las Vegas, NV, with alternate duty location at Indian Springs, NV (Creech AFB) typically 1-2 times per week. Under limited supervision, applies comprehensive program knowledge and subject matter expertise to execute assigned duties. Provides program advisory support including detailed, comprehensive analysis of deployment schedules, tasking’s, and in-country procedures. Will successfully interpret technical and programmatic elements to prepare routine and non-routine correspondence and documentation, develop program presentations and briefings, and submit required program management reports. May provide some supervisory duties over junior level employees.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Act as the lead coordinator for all RPA/UAS deployment actions and serve as primary interface with customer(s) and employees.

  2. Understand customer, contract, and site-specific operational requirements. Work with internal and external customer(s) to develop program objectives, offerings and schedules.

  3. Design, implement, and monitor multi-faceted deployment processes and procedures using multimedia platforms in a variety of general, administrative and technical areas, including original materials. Disseminate this information to all affected customers as required.

  4. Coordinate and maximize the utilization of resources to track the development of deployment processes. Provide timely reports and status updates from these processes.

  5. Use a variety of software programs to develop survey instruments, special reports, checklist documentation, training requirements, multimedia presentations, and reference materials to meet customer and contract requirements.

  6. Develop and implement policies and procedures related to deployment training requirements.

  7. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Starting salary $60K+ based on experience and the following qualifications:

Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field and 4 years of job related experience or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field and 7 years of job related experience or equivalent highly desired. Related military technical training and relevant job experience may be substituted for requirements noted above with Hiring Manager approval.

Must have background or knowledge of military deployment requirements and/or training requirements. Basic knowledge and understanding of manned or unmanned aircraft systems, missions and aerospace operations highly desired. Excellent written communication skills; solid working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; sound organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.

Must have outstanding customer service skills and must be able to adapt to change under short notice. Must be able to work within tight deadlines and thrive under pressure. Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform accurate, detail-oriented work are required. Position may require short-duration travel. Must be able to provide proof of US Citizenship. Must apply for a Secret, or higher, clearance within 30 days of hire start date. Must be able to gain/maintain the required security clearance level of as a condition of continued employment.

Preferred Qualifications

Active DOD Security Clearance preferred.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Prior experience with Defense Contracting preferred.

Prior experience with UAV series aircraft is preferred.

Basic knowledge and understanding of unmanned aircraft systems, missions and operations preferred.
