AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Bilingual Outreach Coordinator for employment in the Las Vegas, NV office.
In this position, you will be a member of the outreach team on our Club Ride project, which manages the Clark County transportation demand management (TDM) program at the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada. This program aims to reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality by encouraging Clark County residents to use green, active transportation modes such as carpooling, public transportation and bicycling. As a Club Ride Outreach Coordinator, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Club Ride partners within an assigned territory. You will assist these partners with the implementation of commuter options programs that help reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality. You will work in a fast paced team environment following a sales model with weekly performance metrics.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Performs a range of transportation demand management, marketing and outreach tasks aimed at enhancing opportunities for individual travelers, commuters, and/or students to utilize non-drive-alone means of transportation, including carpooling, vanpooling, public transit, bicycling, walking, teleworking, and other options
Develop, promote, and/or implement a range of worksite operational programs aimed at improving business operations and increasing alternative mode use to improve overall air quality and mitigate traffic congestion
Create new and manage existing partner/client relationships
Assist with worksite/community-based TDM plans and guide the implementation of commuter options programs at employer sites (e.g. carpool, pre-tax transit benefits, compressed work weeks, bicycle programs, and commute incentives)
Deepen existing Club Ride partner relationships through frequent contact and follow-up meetings, tracking program implementation and employee participation
Increase participation rates and program awareness among employees at partner locations
Generate new Club Ride partnerships through cold calling, networking, and referrals
Serve as a transportation resource for worksite partners and organizations within assigned territory
Conduct onsite events, promotions, and marketing activities at partner sites to promote alternative mode use and register employees for Club Ride programs and services
Attend local networking and public meetings
Conduct presentations for stakeholders, employers, and commuters
Generate measurable results from employer or commuter participation in transportation-related incentive programs
Exceed monthly performance metrics
Track the employer relationship and activities over time, by utilizing SalesForce.com, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel
Devise new approaches to challenges encountered
Associates degree or equivalent 2+ years of experience Fluent Spanish/English bilingual skills required Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills and experience in handling multiple tasks in an organized and efficient manner Energetic and articulate individual who has the communication skills and persuasiveness necessary to influence, motivate, and inform travelers in the use of travel options in Clark County, NV Proven track record meeting job performance metrics Ability to achieve objectives through teamwork Must have current valid driver’s license Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft OS General office environment; requires visits to project sites Some heavy lifting ( Field office work will require reliable transportation Background Check required
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field Experience with SalesForce.com or other similar CRM software
