Job Summary

AECOM has an immediate opening for a Quality Support Supervisor at our Lakehurst, NJ facility.

Maintains and administers the organization’s FAA Repair Station certification to ensure regulatory compliance. Maintains and administers quality and safety programs to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. Maintain adherence to quality requirements established under ISO9000/AS9100. Maintain quality, health and safety manuals. Comply with corporate, state, federal and local regulations and contract requirements. Provide guidance to assist in the interpretation of and compliance with quality related contract requirements. Maintain safety, health and environmental records. Support issuance of work permits for continued improvements of quality and safety. Conduct special evaluations, quality surveys and audits. Compile reports and findings of surveys and audits for company officials for review and make action recommendations as required. Conduct accident investigations. Complete and maintain required reporting. Maintain current files of all technical documents, instructions, procedures and requirements necessary for implementation of an effective quality assurance program.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Bachelors degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, Business Management or related fields, preferred.

Work Experience Field: 5 years experience working in a FAA Part 145/121 facility. 5 years of experience or equivalent training/experience. Also requires military aviation fixed/rotary wing experience, preferably army aviation, and aircraft technical inspection experience with H-60 Blackhawk experience a Plus.

Special Skills: FAA A&P License required. Good written communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Position requires familiarity with and ability to stay current in general industry standards (29CRF 1910 and 1926), ANSI Standards and MIL Standards. Position may require travel. Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
