Position Title Scheduler (Contract)(Based in Sabah)

Job Summary

  • To perform and assist supervisory planning/ scheduling activities.

  • To receive general guidance/ objectives and specific work assignments from the Project Director/ Project Manager.

  • To develop the capability and supervises the performance for all project planning/ scheduling analysis and reporting and project progress evaluation.

  • To advise on policies and procedures for planning and scheduling.

  • To provide project management consultation on factors affecting the timely completion of projects.

  • To perform special analysis for manpower loading and performance progress.

  • To establish frequent contact with Clients, management team and contractors.

  • To analyze drawings, specifications and statements of work in the preparation of networks for project planning and scheduling manloading, materials, equipment, installation and testing, support facilities and costs.

  • To prepare master critical path type and time scaled overall schedules.

  • To prepare plans and schedules, status reports and performance evaluations.

  • To analyze progress reports against the master schedule.

  • To develop and maintain manpower estimates and equipment and material delivery requirements.

  • To monitor material status reports against construction schedules and review with the procurement and construction teams.

  • To maintain liaison with the project team and the site team (contractors) for any schedule revisions and updates.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in Planning and Scheduling, preferably from the property development/ consultancy industry;

  • Good proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office applications;

  • Good multitasking, prioritising and organisation skills;

  • Must be proficient in written and spoken English;

  • Good leadership and interpersonal skills;

  • Must be willing to be based on project sites

Preferred Qualifications

  • A recognized Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent;
