Purpose and Scope:
Provide technical support in a variety of engineering assignments associated with developing and maintaining database records to track/monitor design, implementation, activation and turnover of Facility, System, Equipment and/or Utility (FSEU); Operational Maintenance Documentation (OMD) identification; processing project Design Certification documentation, development and maintenance of written procedures and instructions as a member of a design, analysis, review or closeout team.
Perform database entries for projects in various phases of Design and Construction under supervision.
Perform research or review tasks in specific areas under supervision.
Assist in generation of project-relateddocumentation in support of the activities within Activation, Configuration and Asset Management (ACAM).
Review design/construction documentation to determine systems affected.
Create and maintain project records in the MS Access database used by Activation & Turnover.
Analyze specifications to determine scope of work.
Prepare, deliver and submit technical presentations for meetings.
Identify, develop, maintain and/or produce technical documentation, as required.
Assist in the development and maintenance of written procedures, instructions and desk guides.
Assist with maintenance of filing system, databases and logs as needed for tracking project status.
Support internal and external customers.
Provide support with engineering and/or documentation tasks, as needed.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Vocational/Technical school, Associates degree and at least 6 years of job-related experience or equivalent. Excellent communication and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs. Some positions may require the ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions to problems in operational hardware and software.
Position may require travel. Must be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance. US Citizenship required for unescorted access to assigned work area(s). Must be able to successfully pass a National Agency Check w/Inquiries.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands
Most positions involve work of office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting with occasional use of computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizational skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
Knowledge of MS Access software required.
