Job Summary

Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the operation financial covering Project accounting and Working Capital function

  • Processing Account Payable from receivingdocuments, verificationand submission to Global Business Service team.

  • Review the compliance of transaction as per AECOM’s policy and liaise with Operation team.

  • Work closely with Working Capital officer on payment plan and document preparation i.e Payment Voucher and review the Bank Entries

  • Work closely with Tax Accountant for providing information and document for Tax Report/ Payment

  • Assist on Account Receivable (AR) process, issue invoices and follow up payment schedule to clients

  • Maintain AR management, i.e produce reminder letter, and work closely with legal team for Notice of Demand process

  • Assist on Project Accounting field, Project Set up preparation and documentation, EAC revision and Project Closure procedure.

  • ACCPAC entries i.e Account Receivable, PJC Project set up and EAC Revision.

  • Perform Ad Hoc duty as required by Accounting Manager i.e Audit purpose, data supplement.

Minimum Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting

Skill requirement

  • Knowledge and experience of project accounting or cost accounting or related field

  • Experience of ACCPAC software is a plus

  • Understanding of financial analytical tools and internal control would be an advantage

  • Proficiency in English, both written and oral and an ability to work with multi-national team

  • Excellent numerical, analytical and problem solving skill

  • Good time management, highly committed and able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.

  • Proactive, detail-oriented and a team player with leadership qualities

Preferred Qualifications

Years of Experience:

  • 1to4years of experience in related field

  • Background in international audit firm(s) will be an advantage
