Job Summary

AECOM is looking for a Fuel OM&R Manager to work at Oman/ Thumrait Warm Air Base & Al Mussanah Air Base in Kuwait.

Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Purpose and Scope:

The Fuel OM&R Manager will be responsible for meeting Contractor’s work requirements, including scheduling of personnel, work supervision, and quality control.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provides direction and leadership to assigned personnel.

  • Manages and coordinates research and investigations into business problems.

  • Provides guidance and assistance relative to operating problems and projects.

  • Provides senior technical support to customers.

  • Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience; five (5) years of diverse management experience; and excellent communication, analytical, project management and supervisory skills.

  • Desktop computer skills are essential with proficiency in full range of Microsoft Office products and should be capable of preparing management level reports and presentations.

  • Minimum of six (6) years of specialized experience in fuels hydrant operations and maintenance of bulk petroleum storage terminals.

  • Must have minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience in fuel hydrants operations with emphasis in operations and environmental compliance.

  • Must have experience in receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping petroleum products via tank truck, pipeline, rail, and tanker/barge as appropriate to the Air Force installation capability.

  • Position may require travel.

  • Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
