Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Water Resources Engineer II for the AECOM Hunt Valley, MD office. The qualified water resources engineer will be part of a growing transportation water resources team working with MDOT and local municipal clients providing expertise H & H designs and analysis, stormwater planning and transportation drainage designs. As a water resources engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on various transportation projects that will provide you with experiences that can develop you professional engineer career. We are seeking an engineer that is interested in learning and growing in their engineering field

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Support a wide range of engineering projects for roadway improvements, bicycle, and pedestrian facilities, and site development

  • Perform drainage-related analyses, design and report preparation for the design of buildings, bridges, roadways, airports, landfills, and infrastructure facilities

  • Participate in client meetings ensuring that client projects are completed with the highest engineering standards.

  • Assist the water resources team with proposals, project submittals and client presentations.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field

  • FE

  • 2+ years as a civil engineer concentrating in drainage and water resource projects

  • Knowledge of design software, such as MicroStation, Geopak, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Maryland is preferred
