AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Architectural BIM Lead for immediate employment for the Hunt Valley, MD office. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
Research and resolve design software solutions and integration issues for a full range of facilities and transportation issues
Coordinate in-house and external resources for training and implementation in support of multi-disciplinary use of digital technology
Interface with client standards driving the use of model based technologies and help proposal and project teams interpret and integrate those standards
Communicate with team leaders from all disciplines, including architecture, mechanical, plumbing, sprinkler, electrical, civil, construction management, structural, and encourage all team leaders to collaborate with each other and members within their studios
Effectively organize in-house BIM coordination meetings with discipline project leaders, the Hunt Valley, MD office, as well as prepare webcast meetings for sharing with other AECOM offices
Train and manage the development of BIM execution plans and content control
Bachelors degree in Architecture or related discipline or equivalent
5+ years of experience and background in modeling, data management and knowledge of best practices in BIM
Experience in cost effective BIM management techniques
Proven ability to lead a transition staff working in 2D/CAD to 3D/BIM software such as Revit and Rhino, as well as support staff members already working in Revit with project related issues and process questions
Production experience in either architecture or engineering in one or more BIM software
Excellent communications skills, and the ability to document and present procedures, workflows, and capabilities to a broad audience including technical and non-technical personnel
Knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite, MS Word and Excel
Team-building and collaboration skills that will support their efforts
Forward looking in order to understand industry trends and issues
Ability to work with project staff to apply advanced technology to solve project tasks and improve productivity and quality of work product
Ability to advise and guide management in prudent investments
