AECOM is seeking a Marketing Proposal Specialist to support the Global Oil & Gas (GOG) marketing and proposal management team within the AECOM construction services business.
As a member of AECOM Construction Service’s marketing team, you will need to be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where clear and precise communication is critical to the continued growth of the business. As a Marketing Proposal Specialist, you will be on the front lines of this endeavor, helping to secure the new business projects that make up the lifeblood of our company. Support marketing team with proposal and presentation preparation assignments, project management coordination and drafting/editing materials for client submissions.
Respond to external requests for prequals, qualifications, etc.
Create materials such as project write-ups, case studies, resumes for proposal documents and client presentations.
Facilitate client presentation preparation include slide deck development
Research competitors, markets and sectors by identifying and evaluating characteristics, market share, etc.
Create and manage marketing collateral.
Copy edit and critically review outgoing materials
Identify opportunities to create and develop new content that fits with our brand and communicates and markets our capabilities within a given space.
Maintain a sense of ownership for carrying projects through to completion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism or related field from an accredited college or university or demonstrated equivalent.
4 years of marketing experience in the Oil and Gas engineering and construction industry or related industries.
Experience with the following software programs: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite.
Demonstrated experience in managing the full cycle of the proposal development process.
Highly organized and detail-oriented and excellent multi-tasker.
Must be proficient, persuasive writer, positioning our offering in the most effective manner possible.
Interpersonal communication skills and ability to work closely with senior managers and executive management.
Experience with CRM platform a plus.
Experience with database management
Understanding of graphic design and has an eye for communicating content visually.
Interest in Engineering/Construction a plus
