AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Air Quality Scientist / Engineer for employment in the Houston, TX office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide air quality data analysis and management for several on-going air monitoring projects.

  • Lead development and delivery of project reports

  • Lead development and delivery of communication materials

Minimum Requirements

  • Master Degree in Environmental Science / Environmental Engineering or other related field

  • Must have demonstrated ability to design, execute, and communicate results from air quality studies.

  • Must include a short paragraph summarizing that experience in candidate cover letter to be considered for this position

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in Environmental Science / Environmental Engineering or other related field

  • Validation of ambient air monitoring data

  • Experience with chromatography or spectroscopic sensing of atmospheric pollutants

  • Experience with community air monitoring, IOT air monitoring sensors, and air toxics measurement techniques

  • Experience analyzing large sets of environmental data

  • Previous science or engineering project management experience
