Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented and hardworking Estimator for immediate employment in the Honolulu, HI office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Review delay claims and analyze costs to determine how changes impact the schedule's critical path

  • Provide the Changes Manager with an analysis for any time and cost impacts due to changes

  • Assist the Changes Manager and Construction Manager with negotiating Change Proposals with the Contractor

  • Assist the Changes Manager with preparing an independent engineer's estimate in support of the Change Management process

  • Assist the Construction Manager with reviewing contractor progress Payment Applications and recommend payment amounts to the CM based on work completed

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field

  • 4+ years minimum experience in Construction

  • Proficient in Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft suite of applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in Primavera P6

  • Experience in cost estimating of medium to large and complex construction projects

  • Experience in negotiating change proposals
