Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Contracts Administrator for immediate employment for the Honolulu, HI office. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

  • Due diligence in support of projects with new Federal Government Clients/JV’s/Teaming arrangements, cost proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contracts policy compliance, project audits, project government property management and any other business related support required by the program/project management on multiple stand alone and Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contracts, each containing both cost plus and FFP pricing arrangements

  • This position will also serve as the primary project interface with the Federal Government Client’s Contracting Official where so designated

  • Must ensure adherence to the firm’s signature authority policy, and facilitate approval of necessary and appropriate deviations.

  • Coordinate with Corporate Auditing and support periodic internal project audits, outside project audits by clients, and federal and state agency audits

  • Respond to project/federal government client directives and requests involving financial information, contract compliance, subcontracting/procurement, cost proposals, project audit, project accounting, insurance, property, export control, international workflow and other administrative issues

  • In conjunction with the Project Manager, develop the negotiating strategy and plan/lead, where appropriate, conduct contract negotiations with the Federal Government Client

  • Conducts strategic pricing planning and participate in technical proposal preparation in compliance with Federal Regulations and company policies and procedures

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors’ Degree

  • 4+ years of relative experience

  • Solid understanding of risk management, assessment, and planning

  • Possess the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, love challenges and details, be resourceful, and have great organizational and time management skills

  • Knowledge of federal contracting, bidding, source selection, and procurement regulations and laws

  • Experience with audit standards and federal cost principles; outstanding communication and negotiation skills, strong financial, pricing and business management skills

  • Must have extensive knowledge and experience in utilizing and maintaining databases and working with Excel spreadsheets

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook)

  • Strong working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations and its supplements as well as the Uniform Commercial Code

Preferred Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Business or Federal Government Contracting

  • 8+ years of relative experience in Federal Contracts Management
