Our talented experts are dedicated to managing the complexity inherent in construction projects, catering to each client’s unique needs. We provide services such as program management, construction management and owner’s representation to our clients around the globe.
AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Civil Engineer for immediate employment in Honolulu.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Construction Contract Administration
Conducts weekly progress meetings
Prepares weekly progress reports to Owner
Reviews submittals for mix designs, erosion control plans, traffic control plans
Interprets Drawings and Specifications to reply to requests for information (RFI’s)
Computes and prepares monthly progress payments
Negotiates and prepares construction change orders
Responds to inquiries from the general public.
Supervises construction inspectors for road cold planning and resurfacing with asphalt concrete
Coordinates inspections and reviews punch lists for final acceptance
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineer
2+ years of experience
Hawaii PE License
Experience with asphalt mix design and performing quality control testing
Familiarity with Primavera Contract Management software.
HDOT- HWY Materials and Research Br. Field Sampling/Testing certification
